Jilted lover?
so I've been giving it a lot of thought as to who my secondary NHL team should be.. TOR just isn't doing it for me anymore.. its almost like being a lions fan.. I watch center ice every night and I skip over them.. is this bad? I feel like I am cheating on my team.. but I have been really intrigued with watching MON games.. and it hasn't just been this season.. this nasty little secret dates back at least 4 years.. yes, I am coming out.. I think I am a closet Habs fan.. it feels so good to finally let it out.. They are just so much fun to watch.. they are fast, mobile, physical and feisty.. And they provide so much excitement (10-2 in 1 goal games this year). They are an original 6 team, Canadian and they have cooler jerseys than my old Leafs.. Am I a bad person? is it OK to just move on!!? I am so torn.. its the comfortable old shoe vs the $250 pair of Nike Shox.. Maybe I should think about it for a while? I need advice. Dr Phil!!??

Rooting for Montreal is like wanting Triple-H to win. You know he's the bad guy, but we plays the heel convincingly well and loves doing it. Le Habs have all the things a good team needs...near-superstar goaltending, flashy forwards, a grinder or two. They are Cup contenders this year. So what if you like them...That just makes you a very evil person.
BTW: You are permitted to choose them as your second team because MON will never see DET this season.
BTW2: I'm not sure I have a first favorite team yet. Probably the Hawks. Time to go back to the closet.
